Salesforce Sales Cloud Pricing and Editions (2026)

Header image: Sales Cloud Pricing and Editions, a receipt listing six editions from Free Suite to Max, each with what it adds.

Hey friends,

In 2026 Salesforce sells Sales Cloud in six editions: Free Suite, Starter Suite, Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max. Each tier includes everything in the one below it, priced per user per month, and current prices are listed on the official Salesforce Sales pricing page. Prices change and vary by currency, so treat that page as the source of truth.

For a consultant, the real question isn't the price. It's which features a customer actually needs, because edition fit shows up in the Agentforce Sales Consultant certification too.

Table of the six Sales Cloud editions: Free Suite with core CRM objects, Starter Suite adding sales flows and lead routing, Pro Suite adding customization, quoting and forecasting, Core adding Momentum, Premier Success, Slack and Tableau Next, Advanced adding enhanced security and more AI, and Max adding the full AI suite, Agentforce, Spiff and Maps.

Each edition builds on the one before it.

What do Free Suite and Starter Suite include?

Free Suite covers the basics: account, contact, lead and opportunity management. Starter Suite adds built-in sales flows and lead routing, AI that syncs emails, events and contacts, and email marketing with analytics. Starter can be billed monthly or annually, which makes it the low-commitment entry point.

What does Pro Suite add?

Pro Suite adds more customization and automation, plus sales quoting and forecasting. If a customer needs quote templates or collaborative forecasts, Pro is the first suite on the pricing page that lists them. Pro Suite is billed annually, with Premier Support available as an add-on.

What do Core, Advanced and Max add?

  • Core is described as the CRM for sales with built-in AI, Slack and Tableau. It adds Momentum, the Premier Success plan, Slack Business+ and Tableau Next.
  • Advanced adds enhanced security, more AI and expanded data capacity, including Backup & Recover, Archive, Data Detect and Security Center.
  • Max adds the full AI suite: Agentforce for Sales, Agentforce Coworker, Salesforce Spiff, Sales Planning, Salesforce Maps and Slack Enterprise+, with 2.75M Flex Credits per org per year.

The pricing page also notes that AI can be added to Core and above.

Which AI features are in which edition?

The comparison table on the pricing page lists built-in AI like Lead Scoring, Opportunity Scoring, Predictive Forecasting, Activity Capture and Agentforce skills (prospecting, sales emails, pipeline management). Higher editions include more of them, and Flex Credits cover consumption. Check the table for the exact tier before promising a feature.

Quick backstory. When I studied for my first certs, Focus on Force was my favorite resource, and what made me learn fastest was rapid-fire practice tests: take a quiz, read why each miss was wrong, go again. I built Cert Lab around that loop, with current Help links and screenshots in the explanations. Certs have brought me interviews, a new job, raises and a way into new parts of the platform. They don't replace experience, though. The cert gets you the conversation; what you've built closes it.

How do consultants choose an edition?

  • Start with requirements, not tiers. List must-have features (quoting, forecasting, territories, AI), then find the lowest edition that has them.
  • Check limits. Data storage, custom apps and campaign influence limits differ by edition.
  • Plan for growth. Billing terms differ (Starter monthly or annual, Pro and up annual), so a cheap start can mean an upgrade later.
  • Count support. Success plans (Standard, Premier, Signature) affect how much help the customer gets.

Is pricing on the Sales Consultant exam?

You won't be asked for a price. You will get scenarios where you recommend features and solutions, and knowing what each edition includes helps. The exam is 60 questions in 105 minutes with a 73% passing score (English), per the official exam guide.
